FAQ
Do you upload my images?
No. All conversion, compression, and resizing happens in your browser using Canvas and ImageBitmap. Image bytes never leave your device.
Can I convert HEIC and HEIF photos?
Yes. HEIC and HEIF files are decoded locally in your browser, then converted through the same image pipeline. Only the primary still image is processed; burst or animation frames are not included.
How do I convert an iPhone Live Photo to animated WebP?
Choose the .livp file, or add its matching HEIC/JPG and MOV files together. The browser converts the video frames into an animated WebP locally. WebP does not include the Live Photo audio track.
Is EXIF / GPS metadata removed?
Yes by default. Re-encoding through the canvas pipeline strips EXIF, GPS, and other metadata. You get a clean output file.
