Do you upload my images?

No. All conversion, compression, and resizing happens in your browser using Canvas and ImageBitmap. Image bytes never leave your device.

Is transparency preserved?

PNG and WebP outputs can keep an alpha channel. JPEG cannot. We detect whether your source has transparency and warn when flattening is required.

What quality setting should I use for WebP?

0.8–0.9 is a good default for photos. Lower values shrink files further; raise quality if you see artifacts.
